G.E.D. Awards: This scholarship is awarded annually by Highland Community College to Kansas residents who have tested in the Highland Adult Education Program and score well on the General Education Development Test (GED).
The student must be enrolled full time at the main campus of Highland Community College and/or the Technical Center in Atchison.
A score of 660 or better will entitle the student to a $1100.00 scholarship for four semesters.
The students must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA each semester to remain eligible.
Students will be encouraged to select an activity area as part of their scholarship agreement.
